we have been so excited to share this one…heather ardis is our teacher of the month for june!! we’re so joyful to have the opportunity to celebrate her and share the gorgeous impact she has made in the studio! below are some things you might now know about heather and if you’ve taken one of her classes before, be sure to sound off in the comments! 💌

•What first drew you to yoga?
“My background in mountain sports! As a ski mountaineer, biker, and runner, I initially came to yoga for physical restoration and strength. Over time it became something much deeper and more meaningful in my life. I’ve been teaching yoga for 13-14 years now!

•What are your classes like?
“My teaching is rooted in both the philosophy and history of the practice, alongside thoughtful intelligent sequencing. I love weaving in elements like pranayama, occasional chanting, and a little bit of challenge to create a well rounded experience.”

•What’s something your students might not know about you?
“Off the mat, I enjoy a career in wildlife conservation travel! Lately practices that have been most supportive for me are slowing down, staying present, and returning to breath.”
