I'm nowhere near ready for the biggest most attended festival of the year for ONE on 1 Design, but, I will be.
This is (I think) the 13th year for us at this show & it is ALWAYS a rockin' event.
ONE on 1 Design was featured this year on their social media page, super nice of them!
Tons of food vendors, artisans & visitors from all over attend the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival on September 26 & 27.
I'll have 24 'Adirondack' wildlife shirts & hats along with 9 garlic shirts.
The gates open at 10am. Hundreds of garlic lovers will stream past us, check out the official garlic shirt, then do a U turn back to our 'store' choosing my garlic shirts to take back home. It's a huge compliment.
It takes me about a month to print, fold, figure, check, double check, pack, load 2 vans, mentally and physically prepare (*whew!) everything needed to get our booth ready for the thousands attending.
Can't wait!

Magic time!
Each year I create & print a new garlic themed shirt for our ONE on 1 Design booth at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival - September 26 & 27.

This one I call 'Garlic Shield', it is 1 of 9 garlic designs I'll have at the show along with 24 of my Adirondack wildlife shirts too.

It's a massive undertaking logistically & set up wise that I prep weeks prior for & will continue to until blast off the day we leave for it!

Now,
some terrific news:
21 months since my prostate cancer surgery.
14 months post 40 radiation treatments & hormone therapy.
6 months since my last PSA blood test which was -
according to my radiation oncologist - an 'excellent' 0.006.

Today, my PSA remains at that excellent level of 0.006.
Pre surgery & treatment,
my PSA was at the very elevated & dangerous level of 16.

Dr. Taylor said 'I'll see you in 6 months & after that once a year.'
I expected some scans, so I asked.
He shook his head.
'Your PSA is undetectable.'
me: 'But what if the cancer is somewhere else?'
'If it were, you would have detectable PSA, which you don't.'
So, no scans.

It doesn't get much better than that.

Guys, if you're 40 or older, GET YOUR PSA CHECKED.
It's a blood test that just may save your life.
DON'T shrug this test off.
YOU DO NOT want to go thru what I went thru.
Early detection for prostate cancer is V I T A L .
If you wait you'll wish you didn't.

Make the appointment.

Mother Nature was VERY good to us up at the 'Heart of the Park Arts Festival' in Long Lake, NY this past Sunday.
The forecast ALL WEEK LONG predicted RAIN nearly all day.
We got rain: for about 1 minute!
So thankful we made it thru without wind or downpours.
It was a great show - nice that we had more room this year than in the past, made it more comfortable for our customers. I was even able to set up a stock room tent! Added bonus: the Squires crew took a ride up to visit us!
