Our very special Zumba friend, Cherril Morrell, has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV Leiomyosarcoma,
a rare type of Cancer. She is currently undergoing chemo treatments. Since she is unable to work during this time she could benefit by financial assistance towards her medical bills, etc.
This event will be donation based to help our friend Cherril.
Cherril regularly attended the T/TH 5:15 PM and S 8 AM classes as well as several others at the GFYMCA.

Zumba Friends - I’m sorry that I will miss you tonight, but I will be home with a very sick kiddo. She tested positive for Flu A and has pneumonia. Please send some positive healing energy our way...and WASH YOUR HANDS! 😷
The upside? I’m leaving you with the fabulous Ann Marie Giroux!!! Smother her with loads of Zumba LOVE!!!

Words cannot express how thankful I am for my staff. The past few weeks have been so incredibly busy for me and I am truly humbled that they have taken the time out of their day to send a quick email or text to check in or perhaps stop in to see me. They have reached out to see what they can do to help no matter what the task and extended offers to cover my classes. They've offered to bring me lunch. I have even received heartfelt gifts with handwritten notes simply to let me know they were thinking of me. On more than one occasion I've either had things literally taken from my hands so I could focus on something else or they've saddled up shotgun and worked by my side to lighten the load. Why? Because they care. Their actions show their consideration and respect for not only me, but for our members. They see value in the work that we do every single day. They have not only embraced the changes I've made over the past couple of weeks, but are excited for those planned over the next few. Their love and support truly exemplifies the essence of what we stand for at the Glens Falls Family YMCA and I am so very grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you. ❤️

Another Doctor visit, another round of antibiotics...keep thinking some rest, positive thoughts and healthy energy to get me back for Thursday! Thank you Laura Gorham for taking excellent care of my Zeeps while I recover!!!

Zumba Friends, I wish I could say I could say I was joking, but sadly my sinus infection is back...with a vengeance. I need to kick this for good this time, so the amazing Laura is covering for me tonight!!!
