So this guy is off to college!! The shop is closed today and tomorrow while we check Logan Stevenson into Alfred state for his first year of his diesel technician program. I will be resuming normal hrs on Thursday.
Normal hrs for the fall are Tuesday through Friday 4-8 pm and Saturday 930-5. Tks

Now that things have settled from all of the craziness of worlds, I need to take a minute a give a shout to our archery team! These kids worked so hard this summer, practicing 3-4 days a week, shooting in the rain and heat. Fundraising ect to get to the IBO worlds. They made us so proud! Some kids over came equipment issues, nerves and health issues just to make it here. We are beyond grateful to be part of their journey! Special thanks to our friend Josh who helps coach and keep the kids in line. This program is a lot and we couldn’t do it without him and his wife Kneesaa. To our shooters parents, thanks for traveling with these crazy kids and for trusting us! We are truly blessed!

Bring your equipment and receive personalized support from certified Bowhunter Education Instructors and experienced archers. Are you looking to meet other archers in the area? Come and check out the public use range and its newly built pavilion.

This event is free to attend and will be open range time. Please bring your own archery equipment, as it will not be provided.

Sorry for the delay I finally got a chance to write a post. It was a very successful week at the IBO world championships in West Virginia. We shot the pro/am clinic and Zane and I got teamed up with Dan Evans and a couple other people who shot well and won a little cash in that event Zane managed to shoot a Robin Hood on my arrow and was super proud of that! Logan took second in the Eagle Eye shoot off! It had a couple hundred shooters in it. Those who are not familiar with this event they put a 1” orange sticker dot on a 3-D target at an unknown distance. The rules are simple hit the sticker and you move on to the next round. Miss and you are out. To finish second in this event is huge! shooting against the top shooters in the us including the pro’s! I love watching my kids bang with the best of the best! I made the cut for the shoot up round in the MBO class. This is the highlight amateur division before you go pro or semi-pro. I shot well during the qualifying rd only leaving the ten ring 4 times. I made a stupid mistake and mis- set my sight on one target, that cost me dearly. I finished up in 7 th place Zane did awesome! He placed first in the Youth male release 12-14 classI He also stepped up and took control of his blood all week. I was super proud of him for that as well shooting the third highest score of the entire tournament! Logan made a great run at his first go in the semi pro class! He qualified tied for third place. He shot great on the shoot up round moving up a couple spots finishing second overall Apparently our family was called the sleeper cell! Lol Because the national shoots are so far away from home we just can’t make them all. The people who do shoot the national stuff sort of know who is who and have a general idea of who will be at the top at the world championship. Then To have all three of us make the cut out of the blue is a great accomplishment. Congrats to everyone from our travel team who shot good as well. We learned a lot, had lots of fun and made it home safely.
The shop is in in full swing getting people ready for hunting season. There are still a lot of 3-d shoots coming up. Get your bows out and shoot with your friends and family.

Please note the shop will be closed for the rest of the week! We are taking out Exit Archery Travel team to the IBO World championship in West Virginia! These kids have worked hard to improve their game. Now it’s time to let all of the work behind the scenes shine through. I have all of the confidence in each and every one of them that they can hold it together for this season finally! Wish us all some luck!

When we get back it’s going to be busy getting people ready for hunting season. Don’t wait to get your stuff into the shop.

If you follow us at all or have been to the shop you know we here at Exit Archery are all about the red the white and the blue and what it stands for! As a veteran myself I understand the sacrifices that have been made to keep America the land of the free because of the brave! Hopefully you take the time to spend with your family and friends. Take some time to reflect how and why our country was founded in the first place! What our ancestors 250 + years ago fought for! They set up a foundation of we the people govern the government and everyone has a say in the actions of the government. There are lots of ways you can make a difference in the future of our country. Don’t be part of the problem! Be part of the solution. And don’t forget to shoot your bows! Get them out and check them out. If you’re strings are frayed or need some arrows stop in to see what we can do to help you out. Enjoy your Independence Day! We will be closed today but appreciate all of your support!
