🔥 PLAYER SPOTLIGHT 🔥

Every team has a player coaches never have to worry about.

The player who shows up ready to work. The player who does the little things right. The player who can be counted on when the game is on the line.

For Wolfpack Elite 12U, that player is Ben Roberts.

A center, safety, and reliable target in the passing game, Ben has become one of the foundational pieces of the Wolfpack program. Whether he's hauling in passes, helping his quarterback out of a tough situation, or making plays on defense, his consistency stands out every single time he steps on the field.

🏈 Favorite NFL Team: Kansas City Chiefs

⭐ Which player does he model his game after?

"Rashee Rice. I think he's a great receiver, fast feet, has great hands and moves."

Ben's game reflects many of those same qualities. Strong hands, reliable routes, and the ability to make plays when the ball comes his way.

🤝 Favorite Part of Playing Football:

"I love getting to know my team, building the trust and team spirit with them and just having fun playing the game."

For Ben, football is about more than wins and losses. It's about relationships, trust, and being part of something bigger than yourself.

🐺 What does it mean to be one of the founding members of Wolfpack Elite?

"To be part of the first players to help build up a team and program. It really is so cool to be part of something new."

As one of the original Wolfpack athletes, Ben is helping build the foundation that future players will stand on.

🗣️ Coach Shane on Ben:

"Ben is the type of player you always find a spot for. He's your typical lunch-pail guy who is always ready to work whether it be practice or a tournament. He's as coachable as they come and my favorite part about him—he's a big guy that can move. He's an athlete.

His hands are so soft you don't ever hear the ball hit them when he catches it. He's like a vacuum and pulls in anything that comes his way. He's extremely reliable for our 12U quarterbacks as an outlet but really shines when it's time to go up and get the ball.

Ben is a building block I hope to have in the program for a long time."

We just want to give big congrats to our guy .sgf64 who's been recognized as one of the top 8th grade football players in the state of NY and will be participating the All State game on July 9th.

Congratulations Damian, we know you'll rep your family, your town and the Wolfpack with tenacity and integrity! 🐺🏈

🐺 Bring the kiddos out to celebrate the end of the school year and let's start getting ready for football season!
📝 Sign ups are going strong for all the local youth programs! Let's get together for a weekend and brush up on those skills!
🏈 This time around, we're bringing more guest coaches and really focusing on player development.

When the game is on the line and a catch has to be made, Luke is the kind of player every quarterback wants to see lined up on the outside. Reliable, disciplined, and always ready to do whatever the team needs to win.

"DeVonta Smith"
Like Smith, Luke's game isn't built on flash—it's built on precision, consistency, and making plays when they matter most.
⭐ Favorite Part of Playing Football: "Running routes"
The art of creating separation, timing up with the quarterback, and making big plays is what Luke loves most about the game—and it shows every time he steps on the field.
🐺 What does it mean to be a founding member of Wolfpack Elite?
"It feels good knowing I am one of the first and will help the team grow."
From the beginning, Luke has been helping establish the culture and standard that future Wolfpack athletes will follow.
🗣️ Coach Shane on Luke:
"When I need a catch, down and distance doesn't matter. If I just need the ball caught, I'm drawing something up for Luke. When the ball touches his hands, it rarely ends up anywhere else. He's got glue for hands.
He's as humble as they come and is one of the most coachable kids I've ever had the pleasure of being around. He does a lot of the dirty work in our offense and always provides discipline on defense. He's quiet, but it's obvious when he's having a good time. Teammates love him.
If you were to tell me you didn't like Luke, I'd assume you were the problem."
💪 Some players demand attention with words. Luke earns it with his actions.
Dependable. Coachable. Team-first.
That's the kind of player every program needs.
