We are excited to offer daytime and evening dance classes for children and adults! Visit our website for more information!

Available dance styles include PreDance, Ballet, Pointe, PrePointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Contemporary. Our mission is to share and instill a love for dance while providing quality dance training for students interested in taking daytime or evening dance classes. We inspire our students to express themselves through movement in a positive and nurturing environment while focusing on build

ing a strong technical foundation from the alignment, strength training, and correct body placement learned from Ballet technique. Proper execution of foundational steps in all dance techniques allows the dancer to be successful. Students will be provided with opportunities to advance in their training through leveled classes so that all dancers can dance at a level best suited for them. Our goal is to use dance as a creative way to share our faith and bring joy into the lives of others while providing performance opportunities for both our dancers and community. We have a Christian background and promote the use of family-friendly music and costuming. We value a kind and welcoming environment for all students from all backgrounds and believe every student has something to offer. Therefore, it is our goal is to provide students with the tools they need to be successful by identifying and trying to meet the specific needs of each student the best we can. We urge students to strive for their personal best and to encourage one another both inside and outside of the classroom. The values instilled in our students from their experience at ICDS can be taken with them the rest of their lives.

Hi ICDS Family! We wanted to share an awesome dance event happening in our area with you!

Sunday, June 7 at 4 pm at First United Methodist Church-Brighton Campus, 400 E. Grand River Ave., Brighton

Experience a powerful and joyful afternoon of faith, worship, and movement on Sunday, June 7 as we celebrate Juneteenth: Freedom Day with a special guest liturgical dance performance by Vessels of Grace. Enjoy an inspiring dance-based worship experience followed by a delicious community dinner with the dancers hosted by the Church & Society Committee of First United Methodist Church-Brighton & Whitmore Lake.

Early bird meal ticket prices are $15 per person. Children 10 and under $10. (Cost defrays the catered meal. Add 50-cents for online ticket sales.)

Watching our students grow up into beautiful dancers and young adults is amazing, but saying goodbye is so hard. We enjoyed teaching each of these wonderful ladies through the years and wish them the absolute best.

Recital week was amazing! Thank you to all of the volunteers, teachers, stage crew, parents, audience members, and students. We could not do this without you all. Don't forget to sign up for summer classes, and have a great vacation!

We are so excited to kick off our recitals tonight! Our 1st show is today at 6:30 pm, our 2nd show is tomorrow at 1:00 pm, and our final show is tomorrow at 6:00 pm. We hope to see you there!
