I know it’s late, and I still have some due diligence to finish… but I’ve gotta tease what my QBs — and their teammates and coaches — accomplished in Week 1.

I’ll GLADLY & GRATEFULLY lose a little sleep tonight crunching those numbers so the 🌎 can see what the family has got going on.

Seeing is believing, right?

Dear Lord — my are ready to carry out Your will and receive Your blessings here on Earth.

Please keep them and their teammates safe. Allow them to play focused, play fast, play fearless, and most of all, have fun. Bless their journeys, their effort, and their hearts — win, lose, or draw.

Nothing is perfect except Your will, Lord. Guide them, protect them, and let them compete with gratitude for the gifts You’ve given them.

In Your name, in Jesus’ name, I ask for these blessings.

We are an Audience of One.

The work doesn’t care about your excuses.
The scoreboard doesn’t care about your feelings.

Stay disciplined.

Weights were moved. Routes were run. Footballs were flying.

Young men and women getting stronger, faster, tougher, and more confident with every rep.

Then came the best part…

Great food.
Pool time.
Basketball.
Family.
Laughing until your stomach hurts.

That’s what it’s all about.

Building a team.
Building a family.
Building a life worth living.

The dream isn’t built during one big moment. It’s built in the thousands of little moments nobody sees—the early mornings, the extra reps, the discipline, the recovery, and the commitment to keep showing up… even when it hurts and you don’t feel like it.

We sharpen each other.
We challenge each other.
We celebrate each other.

And one day, all those ordinary days become something extraordinary.

Keep dreaming big.
Keep working.
Keep growing.
Keep becoming.

Because somewhere down the road, you’ll look back and realize these were the days that built YOU.

And more importantly, you made the moment matter—differently.

Summer is where excuses get exposed.

Anybody can talk about attitude.
Anybody can talk about leadership.
Anybody can talk about toughness.

But when the alarm goes off…

I don’t teach attitude.
I don’t teach perspective.

I LIVE it.
