Coach Sierra brings years of coaching experience and a lifelong love for All-Star cheer to the Houston Stampede! Originally from Austin, Sierra made the move to Houston for Mustang after coaching at one of the most renowned gyms in Central Texas. As an athlete, she competed at The Cheerleading Worlds and took home a D2 Summit Championship title! Her coaching career has been nothing short of dominant, leading teams to major wins at NCA All-Star Nationals and The Regional Summit Championship. A proud Texas A&M graduate, Sierra is all about growing confidence, building skills, and bringing out the best in every athlete she works with! 🐎

Former University of Houston cheerleader Coach DeVante brings a strong collegiate cheer background paired with over a decade of elite coaching experience to the Houston Stampede. From his tumbling expertise to his standout All-Star coaching record, this multi-time national champion coach brings the technique AND the trophies! Known for pushing athletes to reach their full potential, Coach DeVante brings experience, energy, and a competitive edge to every practice. 🐎

Coach Tash brings over a decade of experience, passion, and energy to the Houston Stampede! From tumbling to cheer, she works with athletes of all ages to build strong technique, confidence, and consistency while pushing them to reach new goals. With an eye for performance, Coach Tash helps athletes bring confidence, energy, and personality to the floor while continuing to grow into stronger versions of themselves both on and off the mat. Make way, ’Stangs… Coach Andrea is ready to run with the Stampede! Coach Andrea brings years of cheer and coaching experience to Mustang, with a background in sideline all-star cheer as well as extensive tumbling expertise. She’s bringing championship experience to the Stampede as a two-time All-Star Worlds Champion! She loves working with athletes of all ages, helping them build confidence, conquer their fears, and become the best version of themselves both on and off the mat. We’re so excited to have Coach Andrea saddled up and sharing her passion with our ‘Stangs! 🐎

Saddle up, ’Stangs… Coach Liberty is bringing championship experience to the Stampede! With 15+ years in competitive cheer, Coach Liberty has competed at some of the biggest events in the sport, earning titles as an NCA Champion, D2 Summit Champion, and 3x CheerSport Champion! Liberty works with athletes of all ages to build strong technique, confidence, and consistency in both tumbling and cheer. She loves helping athletes reach new goals and become more confident both on and off the mat. We’re so excited to have Coach Liberty sharing her love for cheer with the next generation of ’Stangs! 🐎

‘Stang Gang SALUTE …Coach Ryder is officially joining the Stampede! With 12 years of competitive tumbling and gymnastics experience as an athlete and coach, he brings an extensive background in strength and technique to the ‘Stang Gang. Coach Ryder’s athletic career led him to the United States Air Force Academy, where he competed for the Falcons at the highest levels of D1 College Athletics. After years as an athlete, Coach Ryder transitioned into coaching, where he now shares his knowledge and experience with the next generation of athletes! 🐎

Leading the Stampede! Meet the team behind Mustang Cheer Houston! 🐎

Abby is proud to head up Mustang Cheer in Dallas and now Houston. Mustang is a training facility that not only provides top-level cheer and tumbling coaching, but it also focuses on self-esteem and confidence building, positive body image, and leadership training through its programs and curriculum. From high school to the University of Texas, Abby Ruth has enjoyed cheerleading for over 23 years. After life as a competitive gymnast, Abby cheered on the HP Scots as Captain and a three-time High School All-American. A proud Texas Longhorn, Abby loved cheering for the Horns at the University of Texas, including her senior year when she served as Captain of the UT Cheerleaders. Out of high school, Abby joined the elite coaching staff of the National Cheerleaders Association, where she worked for five years as an Instructor and Head Instructor, training collegiate, high school, and all-star teams. She continued to coach while in law school at SMU Dedman School of Law and then led life as a litigator. Now, a wife and mom to three kids, Abby pairs her passion for kids and cheerleading with her career! 🐎

Whitney M. is the Gym Director of Mustang Cheer Houston and has been part of the Mustang family for over six years. A Dallas native, Whitney cheered for the University of Texas Longhorns for four years, serving as Co-Captain her senior year, and has also served as the Head Cheerleading Coach at St. Mark’s School of Texas. Now leading the charge in Bayou City, Whitney continues to help grow Mustang Houston and take the Stampede straight to the top! ⬆️🐎

Coach Angelo is bringing THREE decades of experience to the Stampede! As Mustang Cheer Houston’s Program Director, Angelo brings an incredible background in coaching, tumbling, and athlete development. His experience spans coaching All-Star athletes at some of the nation’s top programs, serving as Head Coach at Maryville University, and even training Olympic gymnasts. Rain or shine, the ’Stang Gang is getting those reps in! ☔️ Join us TODAY, September 1st, from 4:00–6:00 PM for our Rainy-Day Pop-Up Open Gym! All Tuesday class and team athletes are welcome to attend in place of their regularly scheduled class or practice and enjoy supervised open gym time to work on tumbling, jumps, and stunts! Tuesday athletes do not need to register. Athletes who normally attend on other days are also welcome to join us as space allows and can register through the Mustang app or using the link in our bio! 🐎

The Mustang Team will continue to monitor weather conditions, and any additional updates will be communicated through email and BAND. Stay safe and dry, ’Stang Gang! ☔️💙
