🐴💕 PLAY DAY #4 IS TOMORROW!! 💕🐴
We can’t wait to see everyone back at Double J Equine for another fun-filled Play Day!! 🤩
Before everyone arrives, please take a few minutes to read through some important ground rules and reminders so we can keep things running smoothly and, most importantly, keep everyone safe!
🚻 RESTROOM ETIQUETTE
Parents, PLEASE accompany your young children to the restroom! We’ve had some unfortunate messes left behind, and nobody wants to clean p**p off the bathroom floor. 😅 Please be respectful of our facilities and help your kiddos leave the restroom clean for the next person!
🧹 CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF
We have a small but hardworking team here at Double J that works hard to keep our grounds looking their best! We have a LOT going on around here, and we truly appreciate everyone doing their part to pick up trash, clean up after themselves, and help us keep the facility in tip-top shape!
🚛 PARKING
The parking lot is nice and dry! Please plan to park in our designated trailer parking area on the WEST side of the arena.
🌾 PLEASE STAY OFF THE FRESHLY CUT HAY!
The left side of our parking area has freshly cut hay. While we do plan to eventually keep this area mowed down to create additional parking space, we’d like to maximize our hay production for as long as possible!
PLEASE do not park or drive on the freshly cut hay! We work hard to maintain our hay fields, and we appreciate everyone helping us protect that ground so we can get the most out of our hay growth! 🌱
🐎 BACK HOLDING PENS & ARENA SAFETY
Please pay close attention to these rules!
• First holding pen: Only riders who are getting ready to make their run should be in this pen.
• Second holding pen: RUNNING HORSES ONLY! The only exception is our leadline contestants.
• You may have ONE person assist you in and out of the pens if needed.
• PLEASE do not come running in from the parking lot! We have lots of children, spectators, vehicles, and horses moving around. Keep your horse under control and at a safe speed until you have entered the final run-out pen.
We love seeing everyone have fun, but safety has to come FIRST! We do not want anyone getting hurt or run over.
👖 PROPER RIDING ATTIRE & TACK
Proper riding clothes and appropriate tack are REQUIRED for all contestants. Please come prepared!
🎀 WEAR PINK TOMORROW!!
Tomorrow is PINK DAY in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗 We would LOVE to see everyone decked out in pink to show their support! The more pink, the better!! 💕
