I started Sky View Tents because I was sick of using a rainfly even on nice nights for fear of changing weather conditions. It didn't make any sense that we can easily open and close windows and blinds from inside homes and campers, but in tents... that required crawling outside.

Not anymore. My days of sleeping in stuffy tents with no views just because it MIGHT rain for 10 minutes in 5 hours are over.

We made the XL such a tank this year because we kept hearing from customers that they're setting it up in their backyards and leaving it up for the season as a semi permanent stargazing observatory. It's still designed to be a temporary shelter, but people are going to do as they please. ✊

It's a car-camper so why not just beef it up a bit. 💪

Thicker materials, heavier waterproof coating, big vestibules, stronger poles.
