Sometimes the best product feedback arrives unsolicited.

Yosh Ohno bought a Specialized Turbo Vado SL 2 6.0 Carbon — $7,000, plus two extender batteries at $499 each — because he needed road time and was running out of patience.

Then he rode both.

His verdict, in his own words:

"Your hub product/system is superior to a Specialized Turbo Vado SL 2 6.0 Carbon ebike. Your Falco F7.9 system is more powerful and used less battery. The thumb throttle is very convenient and effective."

The F7.9 is a 48V / 750W / 672Wh direct-drive hub system. No proprietary frame. No $7,000 entry price. Just power, range, and a throttle that does what you ask of it.

Thank you, Yosh. Reviews like this are why we build.

It's smooth, stable, and comfortable in a way that makes you want to keep riding. I loaded mine up with most of the options — rearview mirrors, front and rear LED lights, padded seat and backrest, exit assist bars, ergonomic handrests, fenders, the rear rack, and the adjustable headrest. Every one of them pulls its weight. The padded seat alone is worth it on the longer rides. And yes — I strap my surfboard right on top and head to the beach. Never thought a trike would get me back out on the water, but here we are. https://falcoedrive.com/products/twm
