August 31st from 2-5pm we will have our Fall Extravaganza. Join us for an afternoon of fun at UPARK! All donations will go towards participant scholarships to join a program. Signup for tournaments and our fun race using the QR code on the flyer.

🎓 Last up in our Empowerment3 Graduation Series: Molly Johnson!

Molly is graduating with a B.S. in Health Sciences and has been a driving force in Kidnastics since her sophomore year. She began as a mentor, became a co-lead, and most recently served as the Student Executive Assistant/Student Director of Inclusive Wellness, all while supervising Kidnastics and Beginners Aquatics at UREC. 💜💪

This fall, she’s headed to VCU to pursue her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy! The perfect next step for someone so passionate about inclusion and care.

🎓 Celebrating the INCREDIBLE Sami Stevens!

Sami is graduating with a degree in Psychology and has been a powerhouse at Empowerment3 since her first year at JMU- Spring 2023. From Outreach Liaison to Student Director of Mentors, she’s worn many hats as a mentor, lead, and supervisor, making an impact across numerous programs like soccer ⚽️ , Basketball 🏀 , Challenger Baseball ⚾️ , and so many more. 💜✨

Sami is taking a gap year before pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and we know her passion and leadership will carry her far.

🗣️ “Empowerment3 has taught me so many things about inclusivity. I always looked forward to program every week. I loved being able to get other people involved and share the joy that comes with helping people live healthier lives.”
