Summer is about to get HOT. ☀️

While some athletes are getting faster, stronger, and more explosive this summer…

Others are taking 8-12 weeks completely off.

And when fall sports roll around, the gap is obvious.

The athletes who make the biggest jump aren’t always the most talented.

They’re the ones who stay consistent when everyone else hits pause.

This summer, our athletes are attacking speed development, strength training, plyometrics, movement quality, and injury reduction so they can show up to tryouts, preseason, and next season ahead of where they left off.

Whether your goal is to make varsity, earn more playing time, prepare for high school sports, or take your game to the next level, summertime is one of the biggest opportunities for development all year.

The question is simple:

Will you show up in August wishing you had trained, or knowing you did everything possible to get better?

Most athletes say they want to get faster, stronger, and more confident before next season.

The problem?

Most athletes never make a plan to get there.

This week, a lot of new faces took the first step as we kicked off Week 1 Evaluations for our Summer Athlete Program.

Some are getting ready for their first high school season. Some are chasing bigger goals and opportunities to play at the next level. Others are stepping into a structured training program for the very first time.

Different goals. Different starting points.

One mission.

Become the best version of themselves on and off the field.

Most athletes want to run 20 MPH.

Sawyer did it in middle school.

Seven months ago, his top speed was 17.34 MPH.

This month, he became the first middle school athlete in TNL history to break the 20 MPH barrier, hitting a new PR of 20.45 MPH and averaging 20.13 MPH.

That’s a 17.9% increase in top speed.

Proof that speed isn’t something you’re born with. It’s something you build.

Building stronger, faster athletes is important, but so is creating an environment where they actually look forward to showing up. Hearing that your son and his dad enjoy every session and have built such a strong connection with Coach Shawn and Coach Drew means a lot to our team.

They come from showing up over and over again.

Our May Members of the Month did exactly that.

Adult Member of the Month: Frankie C.

Frankie put together a perfect month of training and completed his best 6 Week Transformation to date. He continues to prove that consistency is the foundation of lasting results.

EADP Athlete of the Month: Max S.

Max also completed a perfect month of training while setting new PRs along the way:

• Fly 10: 16.69 MPH
• 1-Arm DB Bench Press: 40 lb x 4 reps

More importantly, Max is a culture athlete. He works hard, brings great energy, and helps make the athletes around him better.

Congratulations to Frankie and Max on earning May Member of the Month honors.
