Like Stephanie Offerdahl-Kowalewski said, I will not normally post about this stuff. after all I give the hard work but she actually does it. Molly and (women's lightweight double skulls) have battled to get to this point. The term "grind" gets overused and is diluted. But these 2 (and US rowers in general) TRULY grind!!! You wouldn't believe their training schedule, consistency and dedication. They do it for the love of rowing, competition and the honor of representing the U.S.A. I am humbled to be a small part of the amazing effort of the coaches, Docs, therapists and athletes that make this possible. Molly has made me a better trainer and I truly appreciate it. Molly and Michelle deserve this because they earned it.

But here's the thing. My shoulder was hurting from sleeping on it weird (thanks to for letting the 70 # GSP sleep in the bed) soooooooo....

I took the shoulder press out and crushed the complex anyway.

Bonus on Fridays has been trying while trains Hayden. Love watching her get pushed and accept the challenge.

Bump up a level.
Tired.
But feel good.

Those things were way heavier than they should have been.

Onward to 30 rounds....

🏃🏻‍♀️💨Swipe left to see how what my running form looked like in the beginning. Then compare it to the first video taken this week. Throughout the past almost 2 months I have been working with Pete to strengthen, correct and prepare my body to get back on the field. Although it has been challenging, I am making progress. With that said, I still have a bit more work to do!

Every minute the same thing.

Kettlebells and I have a complicated relationship. We don’t always get along. So that’s why I have to make sure I do more.

As said to me "...you like that monotonous s* #$"

I do. I like to go into a zone where I do not have to think, I can just do the work. Sometimes the super complicated workouts take the intensity away. To busy worrying what is next instead of doing the work in front of you NOW!

Trust me I have a written some complicated programs. Some effective. Some total crap. But I know the basic ones always deliver.

When those split squat holds get tough, which they will, just close your eyes, put your head down, and keep going! 💪 We got this!
And again, I really recommend downloading that timer app. It’s free, and will make life a lot easier so you don’t have to keep glancing at the clock. Just a tip. Keep crushing it!
