Our Gym & Learn PLUS staff spent last week deep-cleaning our school and reimagining the space where our preschoolers spend their days. We’ve been working hard to create an environment that feels welcoming, engaging, and ready for a new year of learning, movement, fun, and friendships.

At Gym & Learn PLUS, preschoolers get the best of both worlds: a nurturing preschool environment where they can learn and build friendships, plus all the fun and movement of Motion Matrix.

Our program gives little ones opportunities to learn through play, build strength and coordination, develop early learning skills, and grow their confidence and independence.

We welcomed some of our preschoolers into their refreshed space this week and can already see all the learning, laughter, and growth the year will bring.

We think this might have been our best Team Camp yet! We are SO proud of Team Matrix!

Our girls work hard, our parents show up, and our coaches, April, Casey, Meagan, Nick, and Tal, give so much to this team. Behind the scenes, Marnie and Dakota keep everything running, and we are so grateful for our amazing clinicians who traveled from gyms around the country to work with our athletes.

…and of course, a special shoutout needs to go to Lisa, who pulls all the pieces together to ensure this opportunity is available to Team Matrix year after year!

But what makes us proudest is who these girls are! They are caring and confident, and they exude gratitude, kindness, and respect for everyone!

Today, we turned our gym pink in support of Brooksann Tillia as she navigates her breast cancer journey. Our team, coaches, and families showed up in a big way by wearing pink, offering prayers and words of encouragement, and helping raise funds.

💗 Pink Out for Brooksann 💗

One of the things that makes Team Matrix so special is that we're more than just a gymnastics team—we're a family. When one of our own is hurting, we come together.

Brooksann, mom of Piper (one of our competing gymnasts) and Bella (one of our recreational coaches), has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. As she begins treatment, we want her to know she isn't facing this journey alone.

On Monday and Thursday next week, we invite everyone coming into our gym to wear pink to show their support and remind Brooksann that her Motion Matrix family is standing beside her every step of the way.

We've also started a GoFundMe for anyone who is in a position to help ease some of the financial burden of treatment.

We know many families have already given so generously this year, and we completely understand if you're unable to give. Your prayers, encouragement, and simply wearing pink are meaningful ways to show your support.

It is official! Sami committed to the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and will be competing for the Warhawks!

Sami started training with Motion Matrix when she was just a toddler. She has worked hard to get to this point and is such an incredible role model for our younger gymnasts. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of her gymnastics career and so proud of her!

Everyone join with us as we offer her a massive congratulations! Go Sami!

Let's keep rising up in support of this family! Every contribution or message helps. Evelie and her family are having to travel frequently for care, sometimes staying away for weeks or months at a time, which is incredibly costly. Everything helps.
