Hey Ladies!

The Cherokee County/ Jacksonville Mom Collective kicks off tomorrow at 7pm in Bullard!

The address is 1565 FM 2493 (before the Bushman RV park if you’re driving towards Tyler from Jacksonville).

All foster and adoptive moms welcome, and feel free to bring friends if they’re interested in the support and content.

Many will be meeting for the first time so it’s a great time to plug in! We’ll be spending some time getting to know each other, praying for one another, and discussing how to best support our children’s educational needs (e.g. ARD’s, 504’s, etc).

Feel free to DM if you have any questions. Please share if you know anyone that might be interested.

What an honor to be recognized for International Women’s Day. A friend, 2022 Texas USA Ambassador Pageant Queen, Cheryl Williams, submitted this for publishing. I can’t think of a better example of women supporting women.

Why are you running in the Texas USA Ambassador Pageant?

Well, thank you for asking (;

I am thrilled to take every opportunity possible to have a greater reach and impact, spreading awareness of the need for foster care and adoption.

I am also passionate about working with women committed to transformation. I am a coach and consultant and help my clients overcome limiting beliefs and make their dreams a reality.

The super fun part is my daughter, Jewel Stark, 11 yrs old, will be running alongside me. It will be a great time of growth. I am focusing on growing my skills as a speaker and she is wanting to become an actress.

I am one of those women that have been blessed with beautiful friendships with other women. It is so sad to me to hear that others haven’t had positive experiences in friendships.

The fear that they will be backstabbed, betrayed and gossiped about by women they allow in their circle is real because it’s happened time and again to some. I have had a bit of this myself over the years, especially in high school 😛

The saying, “Just because they are a part of your circle, doesn’t mean they’re in your corner” can be the case.

Even if you have had bad experiences, I would encourage you to try again. Friendship is invaluable when you have the types of friends that show up in genuine ways.

Women supporting women = the best.

A couple of shout outs to some powerhouse ladies that have said kind words or lifted me up in support recently: Whitedove Gannon, Cheryl Williams, and Xai Gonzales. Thank you!!! There are too many awesome women in my life to name them all but assume if you can read this, you are part of this group of lovely ladies.

My commitment, I will be cheering you on and in your corner ladies.
