🛑Attention Sobra Membership🛑
UPDATE: we have 1 new board member joining us! Thank you Darla Memmott for stepping up!
We still could use another!
🛑Sobra is at a crucial point, and we need our club members to step up and get involved.
Due to life circumstances and recent changes, we currently have only two active board members: Jessica Juvinall and Jessica Brown.
Sobra is a member-run association, which means the success of this club depends on our members being willing to contribute their time and effort. Unfortunately, it is not sustainable for one or two people to continue carrying the responsibility of running the club. Without additional members stepping up, we may have to explore the difficult option of dissolving the club.
The current board members already have a bookkeeper and announcer.
What are we looking for?
We are primarily seeking 1–2 additional board members who are able to:
⭐️Attend most races
⭐️Arrive early to help with setup
⭐️Stay afterward to help tear down
⭐️Assist with producing and running races
⭐️Help coordinate finals and awards
⭐️Work alongside the existing board to keep Sobra moving forward
