But at the Scramble we believe that everyone is a winner, and you have a great chance of winning a fantastic prize regardless of how long it takes you to get around the course. We're bringing back out King of the Mountain contest, with a little help from our friends! This year the Angry Trout Cafe has upped the stakes, giving a $100 gift card to the first rider in each category to get to the top of the first climb on the course. Always exciting to open a package with this logo on it! Wolf Tooth Components makes all kinds of unique and interesting equipment, but sometimes what I really appreciate is the less exciting stuff they make, but just make really well, like the chainring bolts in this envelope.

We’ve had a pretty eventful last few weeks, and somehow I missed the fact that it’s now pretty dark at 5:45am! It might be worth it for the mid-ride fog and sunrise photos. I guess this means the summer is truly coming to an end. Which reminds me: THERE’S STILL TIME TO SIGN UP FOR THE GUNFLINT SCRAMBLE!
