Turn your treadmill into a smarter training tool.

The RUNN Sensor adds accurate speed and cadence data to virtually any treadmill and connects with apps like Zwift and Kinomap.

And with the holidays coming up, it’s a great gift idea for the RUNNER in your life — especially the one who already has everything except a new treadmill.

Easy setup. Better data. Smarter indoor running.

That old treadmill might have a few more tricks left in it. 👀

Dust it off. Add a RUNN™ Smart Treadmill Sensor. And suddenly, your “dumb” treadmill gets a whole lot smarter.

RUNN tracks your speed, pace, cadence, and distance — and connects your treadmill running to the apps and devices you already use.

No new treadmill required.
Just a smarter way to train indoors.

Old treadmill. New data.
That’s a pretty good upgrade. ⚡️

Good luck to everyone racing tomorrow!

As a Minnesota company, Twin Cities Marathon weekend always feels like one of those unmistakable markers on the calendar — the leaves are turning, the mornings are getting colder, and race season starts giving way to winter training season.

For a lot of runners, this weekend is also the unofficial handoff from long outdoor miles to more time indoors on the treadmill and trainer.

So enjoy tomorrow. Soak it in. Trust the work, have fun, and leave it all out there.

hen, when the temps really drop, we’ll be warming up those
RUNN treadmill sensors for everyone ready to kick their winter training up a notch. 🍁🏃‍♂️❄️

From all of us at North Pole Engineering — good luck, racers!

Winter is coming. ❄️

Okay… maybe not quite yet. But treadmill season has a way of sneaking up on you.

Before you retreat indoors, make sure your treadmill is ready.

The RUNN Smart Treadmill Sensor from North Pole Engineering turns your existing treadmill into a connected training tool—broadcasting speed, pace, cadence to compatible fitness apps and devices.

No new treadmill required.
No guessing whether the display is telling the truth.
Just your treadmill, your training—and RUNN.

Is your treadmill ready?

👉 Get your RUNN before winter really does come.

And yes, this post is very much tongue-in-cheek. No White Walkers were harmed during treadmill calibration. 😏

Good luck, Wisconsin! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️

North Pole Engineering wishes the very best to everyone taking on IRONMAN 70.3 Wisconsin and IRONMAN Wisconsin this weekend!

As a Minnesota-based company, we have a special place in our hearts for this race—especially considering the connection it has to the NPE family. Last year, our CEO took on and completed IRONMAN Wisconsin. This year, the tradition continues as his daughter heads back to Madison to tackle the full IRONMAN for the second time.

We know what it takes just to get to that starting line—the early mornings, long miles, setbacks, breakthroughs, and countless hours nobody sees.

To everyone racing: trust the work, enjoy the day, and soak in that Wisconsin finish line.

From all of us at North Pole Engineering — GOOD LUCK!

Just another reason to run on a treadmill… 🐊

When the local running route comes with an alligator warning, indoor miles suddenly look pretty good.

The RUNN Smart Treadmill Sensor connects your treadmill to compatible fitness apps and watches—tracking your pace, distance, and cadence as you run.

Same workout. Fewer teeth.

Consistency isn't built in one great workout.

It's built in the ordinary days—the mornings when you're short on time, the afternoons when the weather won't cooperate, and the evenings when motivation is nowhere to be found.

Weather changes.
Schedules change.
Motivation changes.

Consistency doesn't have to.

The RUNN Smart Treadmill Sensor helps you keep showing up, so every indoor run counts toward your goals.

Because progress belongs to the people who keep going.

Your treadmill can go places. 🏃‍♂️🌎

Pair the RUNN Smart Treadmill Sensor with Kinomap and turn your everyday treadmill into a connected training experience.

RUNN tracks your speed and cadence and sends that data directly to Kinomap — so you can run virtual routes around the world without buying a new treadmill.

Explore routes in places like:

Amalfi Coast, Italy
Chamonix, France
Swiss Alps, Switzerland
Kyoto, Japan
Barcelona, Spain
Patagonia, Argentina
Queenstown, New Zealand
Cape Town, South Africa
Big Sur, California
Hawaii

Same treadmill. A whole new way to run.

🌡️ Much of the country is feeling the heat right now. If you're looking at triple-digit temperatures—or even upper 80s with high humidity—your run can go from productive to risky in a hurry.

As a general guide:
☀️ 80–90°F (27–32°C): Slow the pace, shorten the run, and stay hydrated.
🔥 90°F+ (32°C+): Heat stress becomes a real concern, especially with humidity.
🚨 100°F+ (38°C+): For most runners, this is a good day to move the workout indoors or change your training plan.

The good news? Running inside doesn't have to mean staring at the wall.

Pair your treadmill with a RUNN Sensor, connect to Zwift or Kinomap, and turn an indoor run into an interactive workout. Chase virtual routes, join group runs, train with accurate pace and distance, and keep your fitness moving forward—without battling dangerous heat.

Train smarter. Stay consistent. Beat the heat.

🏃 How Many Miles Are on Your Treadmill?

Every treadmill has a story.

Some have logged a few hundred miles.

Others have quietly carried runners through marathon training, Ironman prep, winter storms, injuries, and countless early mornings.

So we're curious...

How many miles do you think your treadmill has accumulated?

📍 Under 500
📍 500–2,000
📍 2,000–5,000
📍 5,000–10,000
📍 10,000+

Bonus points if you know the exact number—or if your treadmill has been faithfully serving you for 10+ years.

Sometimes the best training partner is the one that's been there all along. 👟
