I am going LIVE on DailyOM on Thursday, March 26th. This workshop is designed to support the relationship between your nervous system and fascial system, far beyond simply addressing stiffness or pain. Using a unique approach, we’ll move through a guided sequence that includes movement assessment, tactile touch, muscle swivels, the fascia equation (SEE), and a re-assessment. The intention is to improve the gliding relationship between fascia and nerves, helping you experience more ease, awareness, and connection in your body.

The inner thighs connect the pelvis to the legs and help stabilize the hips, support the pelvic floor, and coordinate movement through the lower body. When the fascia becomes dense or restricted (something that can happen with lots of sitting or repetitive movement) it can limit hip mobility and affect how force travels through the knees, hips, and low back.

Gentle fascia activations for the inner thighs can help restore tissue glide, create more space in the hips, and improve overall movement efficiency. This is one of my favorite quick ways to wake up this area before a workout or anytime the body could use a little more openness.

Sitting is shaping your fascia every single day.

This month on , we’re focusing on the feet and lower legs, your body’s consistent connection to the earth and one very sneaky area for fascial tension to hide.

Everyday habits (yes, even how you sit on the toilet!) shape your postural patterns and but also create opportunities for release. When you start paying attention to the small things, your whole system responds.

Here’s what each slide is showing:

Slide 1 — Your feet inform your posture.
When we zone out on the toilet, our feet and ankles often drift into old patterns. These little angles add up and create sneaky fascial tension. Noticing the pattern is the first shift toward balance.

Slide 2 — Balance the tension through the feet. Here I’m gently adjusting the balls of my feet so they ground more evenly and create an equal sense of pressure. Even this tiny shift can ripple upward, redistributing tension through the legs and giving your whole system a steadier, more supported base.

Slide 3 — No Squatty Potty? Try this.
Drawing one knee toward your chest mimics the pelvic angle of a Squatty Potty and makes going to the bathroom easier. Just keep the pressure centered through the ball of the foot still on the ground so your system stays balanced.
