What’s stopping you from reaching your fitness goals?

Is it making time for the gym? Or making time to meal plan?

Is it not knowing what to do? Have you tried and tried with little to no results, or at least not results that last?

Or is it something else entirely?

These are all valid obstacles.

The strategy to navigate around them isn’t the same for everyone, but the one thing that has always helps are goal setting and strategy sessions, aka Office Hours.

We try to schedule one every few weeks with our community just to make sure they are staying on track!

We’ve heard that song plenty of times and the only thing you’re accomplishing is omitting one of the best exercises that builds highest amount an d quality of muscle

Squats are a fundamental movement pattern, and knee pain strikes a fair amount of the population

Listen, it happens whether it’s chronic or because of a past injury. But typically the knee pain is a sign of other movement imbalances or joint weakness in the body

Restoring your ability to squat should be your priority rather than avoiding the movement all together

Sarcopenia, natural muscle loss with age, is normal and expected. The part isn’t is the rate of decline!

Muscle loss won’t occur rapidly if you have a history of consistent strength training and you continue to incorporate it. 2-4 days per week is all it takes, and it doesn’t need to be complicated!

Many adults gravitate towards HIIT training and cardio for exercise because of its calorie burn appeal; however, when it comes to building and retaining muscle that shouldn’t be the primary form of exercise.

If cardio training is what you love this isn’t to say stop doing it - not at all! What this does mean is that cardio training without strength training is a recipe for atrophy and bone density loss.

Strength training improves metabolism, protects your joints, and reduces the decline of bone density.

As we age, strength is the most important ally to your health!

2 Months in & 20lbs down! But that’s not all!

Val told us she’s fitting into clothes she hasn’t touched in years, and her mood and energy levels are elevated tremendously!

So, how’d she do it?

1. Val is CONSISTENT! 3 classes per week, every week
2. Which classes? She takes 2 Strength and 1 Sweat class per week. This ensures she’s building muscle and strength through compound movements + working on endurance and cardio
3. She’s attended seminars and implemented important nutritional advise to help optimize her diet.

At the end of the day, simple and consistent changes over time yields results. It’s what we’ve preached since day 1 and what we’ll continue to say forever.

Why? Well, it works!
