“I’ve known Western Kentucky was where i wanted to continue my volleyball career since I met Coach Travis Hudson and the other staff before my freshman year at team camp! I was drawn to the kindness and energy of the team and community and I felt a special connection to the area because of how close it is to home! While being at camp not too long ago, the way they run their middles stood out to me. I love that they fully trust their middles to do their job and run everything through the middle. I loved their coaching staff, community and immediately felt loved the second i got there and am SO excited to continue my career at WKU!!!❤️🤍”

The volleyball program also stood out to me, the coaches and players immediately made me feel welcome, and the team culture is the kind I want to be part of. Lastly the campus is absolutely beautiful, and I could instantly see myself there for the next 4 years!"

What advice do you have for others going through the recruiting process?

"My biggest piece of advice for others going through the recruiting process is to not compare yourself to teammates or players you see on social media. Everyone has their own timeline, and comparing yourself will only make things harder. Trust that you’ll end up exactly where you’re meant to be.”
