The Hangover Whisperer

The Hangover Whisperer For high achieving professional women who want to reduce alcohol consumption by 80 percent--you don't have to quit. Get happy, not sober. You don't have to quit.

It's not about the alcohol. Do you drink more than you want to? My name is Colleen Kachmann and I'm the world's first intuitive drinking coach. I work with high achieving, professional women to reduce alcohol consumption by 80 percent. Because alcohol isn't the problem--any more than razors are the problem for people who cut themselves. You're bored, stuck and overwhelmed. All at the same time. An

d the goal-oriented strategies that make you a badass in other areas of your life are making this worse, not better. The harder you try to control your drinking, the more you fail. It's a downward spiral. You already know that when you have a good reason to abstain or drink in moderation, you can. So you don't actually lack discipline and willpower. You've just run out of f**k's to give at the end of the day because you're living for everyone but yourself. The solution to alcohol use disorder is a feeling. If you felt powerful, confident and relaxed, you would drink like someone who feels powerful, confident and relaxed. This isn't complicated. Get happy. Not sober.

Not feeling it when you’re drinking isn’t the flex you think it is. It’s actually a warning sign.

If you can drink a lot and “not feel it,” it doesn’t mean alcohol isn’t affecting you. It means you’ve trained your body to ignore what it’s actually feeling.

You don’t need more willpower. You need to reconnect with your body and what it’s feeling.

When I went sober for three years, I was so much more productive.

Here’s how that went horribly wrong.

After drinking nightly for over a decade, I was exhausted. I knew my liver couldn’t handle much more.

So, I did the unthinkable...

I quit drinking altogether. And initially, I felt great. I slept better, felt more aware, AND I got a lot more done. But here’s what was wrong:

I was just as miserable sober as I was before I quit. It took me months to figure out the truth...

My instinct to spend my new free time getting more things done WAS THE PROBLEM

If you’re a high-achieving woman who drinks too much in order to cope with anxiety and stress...

You don’t have a drinking problem. You have a thinking problem. You think your self worth is connected to how productive you are, and you’ve never given yourself a break.

If you’re ready to change that mindset and reduce your drinking in the process, and you’d like to join a community of women doing the same, then click the link in the bio and schedule a free discovery call.

If you think you have a high tolerance, that probably means something very different.

For years, I thought alcohol didn’t affect me the way it affected other people. But I had just trained myself not to notice it.

When you’re always in go mode, managing kids, work, stress, and an endless to-do list, one glass of wine can feel like bringing a cup of water to a forest fire.

To solve this, you don’t need more willpower. You need a more mindful way to slow down.

If you want help doing that, click the link in my bio to schedule a free 20-minute discovery call.

That enjoyment you get from a few glasses of wine has a limit. And once you cross it, more alcohol doesn’t make the night better, it actually makes your next day worse.

Try remembering these 6 words: more alcohol will ruin my buzz.

If it takes you more than two drinks to feel a buzz, it’s probably not because you have a “high tolerance.” It’s because you’ve gotten good at ignoring what your body is telling you.

I drank every single night for 15 years. Yet, every morning, I woke up, ran my business, raised my kids, and taught hot yoga.

But behind the scenes, it wasn’t so good…

I was running on fumes. My nightly bottle of wine (or more) was the only thing that helped me relax.

I didn’t drink because I didn’t care…

I drank because I cared TOO MUCH. My clients, my family, my never-ending to-do list… I had no off switch and no ability to slow down. So… I did the unthinkable…

I got completely sober for three years. And I felt better physically. But mentally? I was just as miserable as before.

I learned a valuable lesson:

I never had a drinking problem. I had a thinking problem. I didn’t let myself have a break, and alcohol was the only way I knew how to cope. So, I started on a new journey…

I’ve created a community of women who want to get HAPPY not SOBER. And I’ve helped hundreds of women reduce their drinking by 80% WITHOUT quitting completely.
