Cosens Martial Arts Flushing Beginner-friendly martial arts for kids and adults focused on confidence, fitness, and personal growth. No experience required. Located in Flushing, Michigan.

Cosens Martial Arts was established in 2009 by owner Charlie Cosens, who has trained and competed worldwide, including Thailand and Brazil. Students are taught a variety of Martial Arts with real-world applicability, ranging from Muay Thai Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Western Style Boxing, Krav Maga, Karate, Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, and Judo. We offer martial-art-based, life skills programs for youth, such

as focus, control and discipline. We also cater to adult students working on fitness, self defense, stress relief, or even just starting a new hobby. Students improve themselves as individuals through Cosens’ unique, ego-free, team atmosphere. We currently have locations in Bay City, Midland, Mt. Pleasant, Grand Blanc, Saginaw and Flushing. ONE DAY. ONE AWESOME FIRST KARATE EXPERIENCE.

On Saturday, September 12, we’re hosting a special Kids Karate Workshop made just for brand-new students.

For only $2, your child gets to:

Try karate in a fun, beginner-friendly setting
Play karate-themed games and activities
Meet our instructors and other kids
Enjoy pizza after the workshop
Take home their own FREE karate uniform
No experience needed and no long-term commitment. Just a fun first day designed to let kids experience karate without any pressure.

Get ready for one of the comfiest classes of the year.

On September 9-10, Cosens Youth students can wear their favorite pajamas to class and train in style. We’ll still be working hard, learning, laughing, and having a great time, just with a little extra comfort added in.

Safety equipment is still required, so make sure your child brings everything they normally need for class.
