That’s a wrap on our 2025-2026 Competition Season!! Getting top 10 in the state for D1 Game Day - Non Building division, we are so proud of the competition team’s consistent improvements and dedication. Shout out to our 5 brand new members who had never done competition before and our veterans who helped them every step along the way. We couldn’t do any of this without each and every one of them and their big hearts. Petey the Pioneer joined half way through the season making history!!!! Thank you seniors: Keaghan, Xander, and Jaelyn, you will be deeply missed❤️A huge thank you to Elyria and the continuous support and enthusiasm, we will always work to make you proud 💪

This is the second year in a row that the Elyria team has competed in the state cheerleading finals, hosted by the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators, or OASSA, but coach Kandyce Davis said that this season's championship berth meant even more.

Our Middle School Competition Team ended their season on a high note yesterday!! 🏆Bringing home a 4th place trophy from their State competition! We couldn’t be more proud of how they went and represented the E. It was a very successful season for them (2🥈, 1🥉, 24️⃣) As the first ever Elyria Middle School competition team, they made history!! Congratulations!!! ❤️
