Are you ready for some football?

Elyria High Pioneer football practices begin on Monday, July 27, at Ely Stadium for students in grades 9–12. Players should report to the stadium locker room at 7:30 a.m., and practice will run from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Ely Stadium. Players should bring cleats and bring a current sports physical or make sure they have a current one on file in FinalForms. No experience necessary to participate -- We hope to see you!

The Elyria High Pioneer Football program is seeking three to four high school students who would come to practice each day in a flexible helper/assistant role.

Student helpers will assist with organization, office tasks, equipment inventory, field setup and water, and can explore opportunities to take photos, create video and social media content for the team (with coach's approval), and possibly even help with Hudl and game film. Students may even have opportunities to help with drone footage!

This is a great way to earn service hours or gain hands-on experience! Student helpers will receive football gear and have a valuable role with the team. There's lots of flexibility and opportunity in these roles. Interested students should contact Head Football Coach Matt Wilson, [email protected].
