Fit Sober Saturdays

Fit Sober Saturdays Fit Sober Saturdays is a free fitness class for the recovery community. ALL ARE WELCOME!

These are coached classes, led by Founder Mindy Carrell, a sober member of and coach at Koda HQ, and they are easily adaptable for ALL all fitness levels.

Apple Maps may not find it (google maps does), so detailed directions are here: On Broadway Extension, exit and go east on Wilshire. Then go South on Santa Fe Ave, from there turn east on NE 70th St, take that down to Ozzy Ave and take it South - it’s the second property on the left! April showers bring May FSS! We are BACK on Saturday 5/9 and 5/30 at the brand new location (7016 Ozzy Ave, OKC, OK 73105)! Come one, come all for some free and fun fitness with Coach Mindy - we welcome everyone with open arms. Bring a water bottle, throw on some comfy clothes, put on a smile, grab your buddies/families, and we’ll sweat it out TOGETHER! 7 YEARS. Seven years ago today was the very first Fit Sober Saturdays. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for this program, supporters, and athletes. Sometimes we have a few attend, sometimes we have a ton attend, but whatever each class looks like, you all continue to show up and we always have all the fun! Thank you to the guys that helped me start this and ran this along side me, thank you to those that have given us the space to do this over the years, thank you to for continuing to let me offer this to the community, thank you to the community for always supporting this - the list could go on and on, and FSS would not be a thing without all of you! This last Saturday’s FSS was extra special because my dad and mom both came. Their support in my recovery journey has been nonstop and amazing, so it’s so great being able to share this with them at one of my favorite places ever. This last slide is a {very} awkward video I took 7 years ago just after the first FSS. The gratitude now is still the same as it was then, if not more. Lucky Number 7! Stay tuned for a few upcoming changes and updates - but don’t worry, FSS isn’t going anywhere, just mixing things up a bit! love you all. 🫶🏻 -Coach Mindy
