🏆 Congratulations to River Oaks Golf Club member Ainslie Stanford III! 🏆

What an incredible run for one of our own.

Ainslie recently captured the OGA Junior Championship Match Play, battling through an absolutely stacked field to earn the title and be crowned champion.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, he also claimed victory at the AJGA Thunderbird Heather Farr Classic at Papago Golf Club, where he set the tournament’s two-round scoring record with rounds of 65-65-73 (-13).

Ainslie’s hard work, dedication, and competitive spirit continue to produce remarkable results, and we couldn’t be more proud to have him represent River Oaks Golf Club.

Congratulations, Ainslie! Everyone at River Oaks is excited to see what the future has in store for you. The sky is the limit. 👏⛳🏆

🚨 Thursday Showdown Update 🚨

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it happened again… we have a carryover!

We had 26 players out tonight, putting $520 into the pot, and no one was able to take it down.

Next Week: Guest Day

Grab a partner and bring a guest out for Thursday Showdown Guest Day!

* $20 entry
* No green fee
* No cart fee
* 100% of the entry fee goes directly into the prize pool
* Guests must have an official handicap to participate
* All players must be 21 years of age or older

The carryover will pause for Guest Day and resume two weeks from today.

Be sure to check the schedule and get signed up. The next couple of weeks of Thursday Showdown are shaping up to be big.

🏆 2026 River Oaks Golf Club Championship Results 🏆

Thank you to everyone who played in the 2026 River Oaks Golf Club Championship! We enjoyed two fantastic days of competition, camaraderie, and great golf. Congratulations to all of our flight winners and participants for making this year’s championship a tremendous success.

A special congratulations goes to Dawson Dunlap, our Championship Flight Winner! Dawson captured his third consecutive River Oaks Club Championship, completing an impressive three-peat. What an incredible accomplishment!

We’d also like to congratulate Chris Goodwin, our Senior Championship Low Gross Champion, on an outstanding performance.

🏆 Day 1 of the 2026 River Oaks Club Championship is in the books!

Good luck to all of our competitors heading into the final round tomorrow. Be sure to keep an eye out for final results as the championship concludes.
