Another unforgettable weekend on the course. ⛳️

We wrapped up the 21st Annual Parent/Child Championship at KickingBird Golf with a sold-out field of 64 teams, featuring parent/child and grandparent/grandchild pairings.

The heat was tough, but it didn’t slow anyone down. This is one of our favorite events to host every year, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

Thanks to everyone who played and made it a great tournament.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out and competed in this year’s championship! The conditions definitely tested us out there, but the grit and great golf on display made for an unforgettable weekend.

The tradition continues! Registration is officially OPEN for the 25th Annual KickingBird Classic happening July 11th & 12th.

Whether you’re trying to hunt down the lowest gross score or looking to dominate your handicap flight, this is the weekend to prove it.

The Details:

📅 Dates: July 11 & 12
⛳ Format: 2 days, 36-hole stroke play
🏆 Flights: Non-handicapped Championship Flight + Net Handicap Flights
💰 Entry Fee: $200 per person

🏆 2026 Senior Men’s Championship Recap 🏆

What an incredible weekend of golf! A huge congratulations to all of our champions and a massive thank you to everyone who came out to compete. You made this year’s tournament one for the history books.

Here is how the leaderboard shook out:

⛳️ Championship Flight
We needed extra holes to decide this one! After an intense sudden-death playoff, Peter Vitali took home the crown, firing incredible gross rounds of 69 and 63!

⛳️ First Flight
We couldn’t split ‘em! David Jourdan (net 65, 71) and Russell Wingo (net 68, 68) put on a clinic, finishing in a dead heat to share the title with a spectacular net total of 136.

⛳️ Second Flight
Consistency was the name of the game for Loren Stout, who carded stellar net rounds of 67 and 68 to claim the Second Flight.

What an honor for KickingBird Golf to host the Boys 2A State Golf Championship this week. The level of talent, sportsmanship, and competition on display was outstanding, and we were proud to welcome so many incredible student-athletes to compete at the highest level of high school golf in Oklahoma.

Congratulations to every player who earned the opportunity to compete in this championship — making it to this stage is an accomplishment in itself.

A special congratulations to the Okarche boys on winning the team state championship, and to Luke Watkins for capturing the individual state title. Well deserved honors after an impressive performance.

Thank you to all the players, coaches, families, and supporters who made this such a great event at KickingBird. ⛳🏆
