Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with hear

t disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. CrossFit is designed to prepare you for any life contingency. It will work to improve endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. On top of all the benefits, CrossFit is always fun. You will not get stuck in a routine fitness program as our workouts are always changing.

Just do it! I know it can feel intimidating at first, but joining CrossFit Rocksolid is one of the best decisions you’ll make. The coaches and members are friendly and welcoming to all skill levels. If you enjoy group workouts and a supportive atmosphere, don’t hesitate to join! Remember, everyone was a beginner once.

What is Buddy Up? It’s a friendly competition emphasizing INCLUSION, FITNESS, and COMMUNITY! Our Uniquely Abled athletes will pair up with a CrossFit RockSolid athlete to participate in this inclusive fitness competition for fun and prizes!

What’s your favorite thing about Rocksolid?
The people. Hands down. Pre-CrossFit I was not an athlete and had never stuck to any workout regiment. But thanks to the coaches, many members and friends I’ve made over the year, CrossFit has become an unbreakable habit. From those that made me feel welcome when I first joined, to the many familiar faces I love seeing every day when I go, Rocksolid always feels like home, and I’m so grateful for every person I’ve met along this journey.

What’s your biggest accomplishment so far?
Becoming something that a much younger version of myself never believed I could be. And learning to not mean mug Mike when he tries to help me mid workout.

What would you say to someone who’s nervous about trying CrossFit?
Nothing worth doing comes easy. Take this risk and you will see yourself transform. Rocksolid provides a space where you can challenge yourself daily and grow in confidence all while feeling safe and supported by a powerful community of members and coaches. When you step into our gym, you will be greeted with so many people that are excited to see what great things you can accomplish and can’t wait to welcome you with a smile and “you’ve got this.” And know this… you are always invited to coffee after the WOD.

Join us TOMORROW, as we host the Manion WOD — an inspiring hero workout honoring the life and legacy of 1stLt Travis Manion, USMC, who gave his life on 04/29/2007. Travis lived every day with courage, and this workout is our opportunity to follow in his footsteps.

The WOD consists of a 400 meter run, and 29 back squats, repeated for 7 rounds. Each rep will serve as a tribute to the day Travis gave the ultimate sacrifice. Your participation helps to continue Travis’ legacy through service.

This is community workout. Members and non-members welcome!

The 2nd annual Chester County Special Olympics Powerlifting Invitational was another amazing day!! Athletes from ChesCo, MontCo, and DelCo came out to show off their best back squat, bench, and deadlift.

CFRS athlete, Grey, who trains with the Special Olympics Powerlifting Team, had an awesome day and PRs!!!

Back Squat: 205 #
Bench: 150 #
Deadlift: 250 #
