-Degree from UNI in Health Promotion/Fitness Management.

-Interned at the YMCA shadowing trainers and class instructors.

-Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (Health and Fitness Specialist).

-12 years of experience as a personal trainer/class instructor.

- Manage a gym called Barn Fitness.

-My mission is to enhance the overall health and quality of life for my clients

by helping them reach their desired goals. I want to create a balanced lifestyle that will contribute to the individual's long term physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth. Since the start of spring, these two have been showing up early, working hard, and staying consistent with the cold plunge. Mom and daughter getting stronger together and holding each other accountable.

No matter how tough the workout is, they’re usually smiling through it. That’s not because it’s easy—it’s because they’ve built the habit of showing up and putting in the work.

🔥 SUMMER GROUP BARN CHALLENGES 🔥

30 days. Teams. Competition. Bragging rights. 💪

Starting June 1st, we’re kicking off the first Summer Group Barn Challenge at Barn Fitness. You’ll compete in teams of 3–4 throughout the month in multiple challenge categories including:
• Plank Hours
• Jump Burpees
• Lateral Shuffles
• Wall Ball Sit-Up Tosses

This is about pushing yourself, staying consistent, and competing alongside your team all summer long. 🏆

✅ Challenges only count during scheduled training sessions at Barn Fitness
✅ Teams will have captains to track progress
✅ July teams will be reshuffled based on June results
✅ Even if you can’t do every exercise, you can still participate

Vacation coming up? Busy schedule? You can still be part of it — we’ll work around it.

We need to know who’s committed ASAP so I can start putting teams together for June.

Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

First, we want to thank the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so our country can remain free.

Every year at Barn Fitness, we complete the Murph workout to honor Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy and all fallen service members.

The Murph:
• 1-mile run
• 100 pull-ups
• 200 push-ups
• 300 squats
• 1-mile run

So we took on 8 different Murph variations.

From 3/1–5/25, 13 athletes individually completed the challenges, totaling:

* 12 Combined Murphs
* 24 miles run
* 1,200 pull-ups
* 2,400 push-ups
* 3,600 squats

Half of these totals were completed wearing 10–20 lb weighted vests.
