A summary from our scorer: we had 57 boats registered and 50 brought fish in to be weighed which is more than in past years. There were a total of 391 fish caught giving us a total weight of 1587.8 lbs of which 225.2 lbs were made up of our big fish entries. Our total weight winner came in at 76.5 lbs from 10 fish, and our biggest fish was 16.00 lbs. Last year we had 53 boats and the year before we had 59 boats. Last year's winning weight was 51.7 lbs and the year before that was 83 lbs. Biggest fish last year was 11.14 lbs and the year before that was 13.8 lbs. This makes this year a bit above average for the last 3 to 4 years in the last three in terms of boat entries, total weight, and biggest fish when we compare the last 4 years.

Tomorrow's weigh-in is at 1:00. All boats must be back in the marina by then. Do not be late.

A reminder note that a non-profit foundation runs this tournament, and with a 90% payout rate that barely covers our expenses.

However we do offer 2 raffles during weigh-in. One is a 50/50, the other for a custom made catfish rod that comes with this Daiwa reel. Please bring some extra cash and help us out.

For those pre-fishing or wanting to pre-register, I will be at the main ramp next Saturday from 3-5:00 p.m.

Sunday registration begins 5:30 a.m.

Note that all boats must be inspected prior to launch on Sunday. We'll have plenty of hands on deck to make this smooth.
