Schowen Skills will provide players private, semi-private, and group training for players of all ages and levels. Schowen Skills is a facility with the mission to provide the highest level of development for your baseball/softball player. If your player strives to improve their game, Schowen Skills should be their home.

Meet the 2026 Schowen Skyhawks 7U Baseball Team!

We’re excited to officially introduce our inaugural Schowen Skyhawks 7U roster! These young athletes are ready to learn, compete, and grow together while building a strong foundation in the game of baseball.

A huge thank you to our families for believing in our vision. We can’t wait to watch these boys grow as players, teammates, and young leaders this season.

The beginning of something special.

Last night, we officially welcomed our very first Schowen Skyhawks 14U Baseball Team.

This isn’t just about baseball. It’s about building young men of character, creating lasting friendships, and developing players who love the game and compete the right way.

We’re incredibly thankful to the players and families who have trusted us to be part of this journey. The excitement is real, and we can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes together.

Please help us welcome Thomas Blomme to the Schowen Skills coaching staff!

Thomas brings a wealth of playing experience and a passion for developing the next generation of athletes. He will be offering baseball hitting, fielding, and catching lessons.

⚾ About Thomas:
• 12 years of playing experience
• Current college baseball player
• Member of Camanche High School’s 2021 State Baseball Team
• 2× RVC First Team Selection
• First Team All-District Selection
• Iowa High School Baseball Junior Showcase participant
• .352 career batting average
• Holds Camanche HS single-season batting average record (2nd all-time) at .535
• 104 career hits
• 63 career RBIs
• Holds the Camanche HS single-game strikeout record with 16 Ks
• 101 career strikeouts
• Holds the Camanche HS record for most innings pitched in a season (53)

Thomas is excited to work with players of all ages and help them build confidence, improve fundamentals, and take their game to the next level.
