Syracuse Skate Gang (SSG) is a skating group for women and men 18+ on quad or inline skates, founded by Havoc Baldwin and Esprit de Co**se. We host weekly classes every month Fall-Spring in Assault City Roller Derby’s private practice space, The Vault, and skate outdoors all summer long at Onondaga Lake Park and other paved trails around Central New York. SSG’s indoor class is a recreational non-c

ompetitive skating class that teaches derby skills in a safe, encouraging environment with an amazing group of people. You don’t need to know how to skate to join, and we’ll help you get the right skates & protective gear at our scheduled Open House nights. So if you want to learn to skate, want to become a better skater, want to prepare for competitive roller derby, or just want a great weekly workout – come roll with us!

We’ll be celebrating PRIDE on wheels—feel free to bring snacks, drinks, chairs and allllll the rainbows and lights! Drive all the way through the lot off exit 7 of 690 to section G5 by the amphitheater. We’re the most inclusive Gang in town - all people and all wheels welcome! 🏳️‍🌈✨🛼🚲🛹🛴🦽

WEDNESDAY SKATE DATE:
Orange Lot, OLP, 6PM

Drive alllll the way down to the amphitheater (where we’ve met for the Pride Glow Skate in the past). You can either enjoy the spacious empty lot as your personal outdoor rink to work on skills; or (if the trail isn’t too messy) skate down to the trail and tackle some hills. There’s also a 1-mile stretch of flat trail if hills aren’t your thing!

Remember, if you’re not into outdoor skating, you can always join our friends on the rink (or ramps!) at !
