Future Champions Kettlebell Club

Future Champions Kettlebell Club Our programs focus on Youth programming designed to promote the Kettlebell Sport, healthful physical activity, and fundamental athleticism. classes.

Our Why:

We are here to inspire the next generation to develop better health, stronger minds, and more resilient bodies so that, they can thrive in today’s challenges, and change tomorrow's world for the better. Led by 5-time Kettlebell Sport World Champion, Brent Morehouse, the Future Champions Kettlebell Club teaches young people how to safely leverage the momentum of the kettlebell to thrive,

standout, and succeed. The overall goal of our programming is not necessarily to have our students develop into elite Kettlebell Sport athletes, but rather, to create a pathway for a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity, through a deeper understanding of strength, health, goal setting, perseverance, and resiliency. We believe the potential of this program is not limited to the individual student within the scope of the Future Champions Kettlebell Club. Our programs can serve as an effective addition to physical-education (P.E.) To that end, our Curriculum is relevant to the scholastic setting and contains standards put forth by the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) (http://www.shapeamerica.org).

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! This week’s Champion profile is Lilah! Lilah is typically one of the goofballs in class but works just as hard. She’s learned a lot along the way and always makes us laugh. Also, one tough cookie! She broke her arm last fall and still continued training what she could, maintaining her strength! We are very proud of her. Meet Lilah!

This past week we refocused on some core work, the foundation for daily movements, training, and sports activities. Lilah and Avery had fun taking a break from kettlebells to learn and knock out a few reps of planks, crawls, log rolls, rows with some bench presses and goofin’ off sprinkled on top. Happy Sunday everyone! Have a great week!

Back to work this week Champions! The Midwest AAU event was a great team building experience and these kids are having fun. We focused on some light GPP work with kettlebells, then some practice with the deadlift, bench press, and sled work. Topped of with more shenanigans of course. Have a great weekend everyone!
