Our junior racquetball players have a pretty great coach 🇺🇸

Erika plays for Team USA and she’s right here at The DAC sharing her knowledge with your kids on the court. Our juniors get to learn from someone who competes internationally, with the chance to ask questions and see how an experienced player approaches the game.

For kids who haven’t tried racquetball, having someone introduce them to the sport is a good place to start. There’s a lot to discover once they pick up a racquet, from learning to read the ball off the wall to keeping a rally going.

Turns out, dodgeball is a lot more entertaining in costume!

The DAC Young Professionals brought their Halloween spirit to the Gymnasium for a little friendly competition, plenty of laughs and some creative costumes. 👻🏐

We’re not sure what was more impressive, the costumes or everyone’s ability to dodge a ball while wearing them! 😂

Stage costumes deserve a closer look. ✨

The Ladies of DAC headed to the Denver Art Museum for a guided tour of DIVA, featuring more than 200 fashions and costumes worn by icons including Cher, Prince, Dolly Parton and Lady Gaga.

We caught a few of our attendees posing at the sign to mark the occasion. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Our very own DAC racquetball pro, Erika Manilla, is bringing home two podium finishes from the World Championships! 🇺🇸

Erika earned second in Women’s Doubles with Michelle Anderson and third in Mixed Doubles with her brother Adam Manilla at the International Racquetball Federation World Championships in Temuco, Chile.

After 10 days of competition against players from 20 countries, Team USA’s seven-player squad finished second overall in the World Cup.

Congratulations, Erika! Join us in giving her a well-earned round of applause. 👏

On the second floor of The DAC, the coworking space gives members a place to get work done without heading home or back to the office. Set up in the Library for quieter work, grab a seat in the 1884 Room or reserve a privacy booth through the concierge when you need to take a call.

Coffee and tea are complimentary and the workspace is open to members 24/7. You can also bring up to two complimentary workspace guests when you’d like to work alongside a colleague.

The pros are coming to The DAC, and amateur players have a place in the competition, too.

The Mile High Open ProAm Racquetball & Amateur Squash Tournament returns November 19–21, presented by the Frontline Family Foundation.

Colorado’s marquee racquet sports weekend brings Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) pros to The Denver Athletic Club’s courts alongside amateur racquetball competitors. An amateur squash draw will also run throughout the weekend.

The DAC recently added a whole lineup of new fitness equipment, and we’re giving you a closer look at how to use it.

In this demo, Petra walks you through the new Precor lat pulldown. Save it for your next workout, and watch for more demos as we work our way around the new equipment.

Member Mix & Mingle is back on Wednesday, October 21st.

Before OpenSnow, Joel Gratz was emailing snow forecasts to friends and family to help them figure out where to ski. That grew into the forecast service many Colorado skiers check before heading to the mountains.

On October 21, he’ll be at The DAC to explain how to read weather forecasts and snow reports so you can make better use of your days on the snow.

DAC members, the presentation starts at 7pm in the 2nd Floor Open Workspace. It’s $10 per person, including a b**r and snacks. Reserve your spot through the member website.
