We took our Evan Miller Racing Pro-powered rocket to Farmer City and the famous Fairbury Speedway this weekend—and what a weekend it was!

At Farmer City, we timed in 7th quick, finished 3rd in our heat, and charged up to 5th in the feature before going over the cushion to avoid a car, dropping us back to 9th. We fought our way back to 7th without a caution.

Fairbury lived up to the hype. What a top-notch facility and program! We timed 9th out of 19 cars, then made some adjustments before the feature after a tough heat race. Starting 11th, Evan quickly charged through the field to 5th and was closing in on 4th when he caught the FALS cushion and blew the right-rear mud plug apart, packing the wheel with mud and creating a significant vibration that ultimately ended our night early.

We’re getting more comfortable with the horsepower every time out and continuing to build our notebook. We’re excited to keep progressing and can’t wait for the next one!

We had an incredible weekend competing with the World of Outlaws Late Models at Maquoketa Speedway. While we faced some challenges early on both nights, our team continued to improve every time we hit the track. Racing against the best in the sport is an adjustment and a valuable learning experience, and we were able to gain important knowledge and seat time throughout the event.

One of the coolest parts of the weekend was looking out before qualifying and seeing the tremendous crowd that was in attendance. The atmosphere was second to none and served as a reminder of how special these events are and how lucky we are to be able to compete in them.

Overall, we're leaving Maquoketa with valuable experience, and plenty of momentum moving forward. We're excited to get back behind the wheel and put what we learned to work this weekend! 🏁💪

First night with the outlaws was a wild one! Driver didn’t execute well in qualifying to start the night. Under adjusted and blew an oil line in the heat race. On a good note, we made some good changes and learned some things as a driver during the last chance showdown putting some good laps down towards the end. Hoping for a slightly better night tonight but just thankful to be here and run with these guys. It’s super humbling and really puts into perspective how good these teams and drivers are.

Well after a few weekends of traveling, moving, family events, and weddings we finally got our second motor fired and ready to go. Sometimes life just takes over and racing has to be sidelined. Lots of rain in this weekends forecast so we’ll see if we get out of the shop. Looking forward to a busy late season schedule!
