Just so everyone is aware, we have met all of our obligations to IMCA in order to assure that Dustin Smith can return to racing IMCA events once his 30 day suspension has ended. With that being said, Dustin will be eligible again on Monday, August 24th, so we'll see you all at a track after that date.

As many of you already know, we were DQ'ed after the heat race last night. During the off-season we bought a used crate out of Missouri. We put it in the car and have been running it all year. Saturday night at Maquoketa, the head of Late Models for IMCA, Joe Hayes, saw something with the Cable-Loks that he didn't think was right. Unfortunately his phone was not working properly, so he snapped a photo and sent it to his guy at IMCA when he could. The Cable-Loks were found to be illegal. Our mistake was not checking into the engine before purchasing it and just taking the seller's word that it was good. We will learn from this mistake and come back stronger than ever.
