Looking for mechanics to help us and Fandrey-Daniels Racing out at Road America on August 14 -15. Obviously, karting knowledge is required if you’d like to help. You don’t have to be an expert, but we aren’t looking for people who only know how to change tires.

Happy fourth from the Foss family! Sadly we couldn’t race this week, but it was a reminder that we have a family. Not just karts.

Huge thank you to Maxxis Midwest for putting on an amazing show at Newton kart klub Saturday night. The day was not ideal but even with the rain they still managed to put on an amazing night, track was great and staff was nice like always. Thank you to Firewater Motorsports for helping me and Emmett staats win Saturday!

THANK YOU to everyone who attended Round 2 of the Midwest Maxxis Series this past weekend. Although conditions were not ideal, your patience, understanding, flexibility, and punctuality made the event a success. We wish all of the main events could have been completed, but are thankful that the majority of the racing was able to take place. That is in large part because of you, the racers, so THANK YOU!

We also want to thank Jason Ray and the NKK crew for hosting us this past weekend. Their efforts to prepare a great surface and have us back racing after the rain shower are very much appreciated.

Congratulations to all of the class winners!

We have greatly enjoyed being back in the Midwest and can not wait for the rest of the season ahead!

If you attended Newton, please take a few moments to fill out the poll below. We are always looking to improve; your feedback helps!

Didn’t have an ideal race today, or anywhere near that. Started P10 in the final today but then had a spin out trying to avoid another wreck around lap 2 or 3. After that happened I had to wait for the entire field of 18 to pass me, but eventually I worked my way back up to P11. Could’ve done better without the spin but that’s part of racing and I learned from my mistake. Good news from today however, I got to help a few younger racers shave around 10 seconds off their lap times just from a few track walks. None of this would’ve been possible without everyone on Fandrey-Daniels Racing though, so a huge thank you to them.

P3 at Viola boyz backroad speedway tonight! Crazy to think I haven’t been to that track in over 2 years until today. However, considering this was my first time in box stock with a class of 25 and I couldn’t play with gearing, I think I did just fine. Thank you to Cruz Racing for helping me today, Braxton Schmidt for letting me borrow his kart today, and the people at Viola for putting on the show tonight.

1st place at the Midwest pavement grand nationals yesterday in the Jr. champ! Sadly we weren’t able to bring the flat kart this year but it worked out okay. Like usual though, thank you to everyone at Firewater Motorsports because none of this would’ve been possible without you, and thank to every one that put on yesterday’s show.
