All my life I've always lost weight and gained weight consistently but I have never lost the weight and kept it off. Then over the summer I gained an excessive amount of weight and I became very discouraged and unhappy with my self to the point I hated seeing my reflection. So I took action and I started a weight loss journey with the intentions to learn how to lose weight and maintain a good workout ethic.

I learned quickly doing it by myself wasn’t going to work so I decided it was time to get a personal trainer. I knew that if I spent my hard earn money, I would take losing weight more seriously.

Rahul was the guy I choose to help me with this journey and I will forever be grateful for him.

In his workout sessions Rahul motivated me and pushed me to my limits. Even when I thought I couldn't do it, the faith Rahul had in me always helped my finish every workout better than the last. He knew what I was capable of long before I did. Also Rahul's mobile approached made it easy to make time to work out, especially since he does his very best to accommodate your work schedule. I work alot so this helped greatly.

In just a short time I lost weight and learned how to eat properly while still eating foods I like and along the way I found some new favorites.

I will forever be grateful for is Rahul patience, his passion and his dedication to ensuring that YOU feel confident, comfortable and a sense of achievement in any successes you make in your weight loss journey no matter how big or small they are.

Thanks to Rahul I was able to embark on this weightloss journey.

I was extremely depressed and I knew I needed to make a change to my life as gaining weight was so easy.

Trying to lose weight alone was such a struggle I knew I needed help from others to be able to accomplish this.

All I knew is that I did not want to hit the 200lbs mark. Many circumstances had landed me in the hospital several times this year. This inhibited me from keeping a balanced active life. When we all went into lockdown, I got stuck in front of the mirror and wondered “How did I get here?”. Until now, I had done so much to achieve what I had set out to do and I did not want to let myself down. From then on, I took up weight training and healthy cooking. That was the easy part. When I started working in construction, I kept telling myself that I would be too tired. That’s when Rahul came into to the picture and proved me wrong. During my weight loss journey, I feel more energetic and mentally organized to tackle each day. Rain or shine, Rahul always pushes me to my limits. My fitness journey prior to discovering Performance Fitness Canada was full of disappointments. I had joined numerous gyms, paid for many personal trainers and had failed to find a program with which I could lose weight at a healthy pace while implementing positive eating habits into a lifestyle change.

After searching around for personal training, I came across a testimonial someone had written for Rahul. What stuck out to me was that Performance Fitness Canada does in-house training sessions. I figured that having someone come to me will make me feel more comfortable, as I hated doing 1 on 1 training in a packed gym.

When I signed up with Rahul, I was hesitant as I had many failed attempts with other personal trainers. I found that with trainers I had previously come across, the first few weeks would go well, but the diet and fitness plans were never realistic in terms of a permanent lifestyle change. I had voiced my concerns to Rahul prior to meeting him, and he assured me that he would adapt to my lifestyle and find something that works for me.

Right off the bat, I noticed that Rahul’s approach was completely different. After asking me about my goals, he catered the nutrition and exercise plan to me and my life in a non-overwhelming way so I could maintain it with ease. Rahul’s philosophy with personal training is very practical- as long as you do your part, you WILL see results.

I did not believe in personal training as I felt that one can always learn from YouTube videos, the internet, etc. However, I have found that Rahul can push me beyond what I thought my limits were. I am constantly shocked at how much my strength and endurance has increased, and only 8 weeks later I am seeing incredible results. I am able to do exercises that I didn’t think I was capable of doing 2 months ago. I feel more confident, more energetic, and I have started to genuinely enjoy working out as opposed to dreading it!

Rahul is extremely motivating, consistent, accountable and organized. He’s very friendly, attentive, enthusiastic and he never fails to make me laugh! He has helped me make a positive lifestyle change that I feel confident in maintaining going forwards. Being overweight was a problem that I’ve dealt with for years. I’d tried diets and would lose a few pounds but nothing compared to what I’ve achieved with Rahul and Performance Fitness Canada.

This summer, I decided I was tired of feeling heavy and slow. My husband invited me to go on a bike ride and I was horrified to realize that I was too heavy to get onto the bike. That was the day that I hit rock bottom. When I would drop something, I couldn’t bend down to pick it up. I was having trouble putting on my shoes and socks, and would experience shortness of breath when walking even short distances. I couldn’t walk up and down stairs. I even had awful back and hip pain. I knew I was ready to lose weight, and I had seen on Facebook that a friend of mine who had done personal training with Rahul and called him to set up an interview. The idea of going to the gym was never something I was interested in, and I was thrilled to hear that Performance Fitness Canada offered at-home, mobile personal training services that would work with my busy schedule.

Shortly after that, my life began to change. Rahul began coming to my apartment for three sessions every week. At first, I felt clumsy and uncoordinated, but as time went on, I began to feel more comfortable and confident during the training sessions, thanks to his motivation and endless encouragement. Soon, I was running and able to do exercises that I haven’t been able to do in years, and learning new exercises every day. He would always bring pre-planned work-outs for me to do, and always have the right equipment in hand, ready to help me face new challenges. My flexibility, endurance, and stamina have all significantly improved after having trained with Rahul.

Five months later, I have lost 40lbs and countless inches. I'm halfway to my weight loss goal and look forward to continue living a healthy lifestyle for the rest of my life. Before Performance Fitness Canada, I didn’t even know what “working out” was. Now, I feel myself living a much happier and healthier life. I no longer experience back and hip pain, and can walk long distances without experiencing shortness of breath. I feel like a whole new person, and Rahul and Performance Fitness Canada encouraged me to get here.

For years I have tried to go to the gym by myself and tried to lose weight. I have been overweight since I have given birth to my first born and have carried it for almost 30 years. I tried diets, gym routines but could never be consistent and didn't have the real discipline to achieve my goals. Because of my weight gain, it also led to things like back pain, heavy breathing when doing simple tasks and a really tough time going up and down stairs.

A little over a year ago, I had said enough is enough and was actively seeking a personal trainer. With the modern-day busy schedules, it's really hard to commit time to a gym membership, getting there and scheduling time with a trainer. However, when I was referred to Rahul, it was an instant mesh. The fact that he offered a mobile service, and had the right equipment made it a very easy choice to hire him as my personal trainer. He has an extremely kind personality and is very motivating. He's very personable and makes it really easy to schedule with him and is always communicating with you about your progress. He really takes his personal training business seriously as he has a system to monitor his clients and is actively implementing new changes to better serve his clients like myself.

I lost the weight I wanted, but Rahul helps you take it further than that. He is constantly setting new goals aside from just losing weight, and I have never felt better about myself.
