Congratulations Ragnarok Sniper Challenge 2026 Competitors
Hello all,
Full warning, this is a lengthy email. Also, this email is being written at the fingertips of a wife that wishes to remain a backdrop to this event. I, Stephanie, just want to say a few words to you all. Please read, as you have time.
We would like to send this email as a wrap-up for this year’s event. To give thanks, acknowledgement, recognition and more.
With great appreciation, we thank Randy Voss, owner of family business (Caribou Gun Club and Hunting Preserve). Randy grants all 752 acres of his land to this event and his private clubhouse. He turns away members and walk-in rifle/pistol range shooters to allow access to complete our stages. Randy has an impressive story that is detailed in the link below. Please read at your leisure. Thank you to the facilitating staff that graciously volunteer their time and credible experience to support this cause worthy event. They do so with selflessness for the benefit of this sport. The hot days and early mornings never appear to faze them while they deliver accuracy, guidance and attention. These are not easy tasks for most. However, they make it look like everyday business. They are rock stars! These are also many of the people that proof the stages prior to step-off, ensuring a successful and doable outcome.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to the folks involved in planning, designing, set-up, take-down, and transport. This will be broken down below.
• Rob Townsend and Jack Lanhart spend much of their time through the year coordinating and implementing new ideas to refresh the next/upcoming year. This often has included springtime drives down to the land to survey what is in store, reading weather patterns through the year and noting the new uses of crop land. This has a great impact on the course and outcome of how the new year will change. The time it takes to design this is significant, yet they do this selflessly for the cause. These two spend 2 days driving posts and hanging targets around this land. They set up shooting props and obstacles. These two men spend a decent chunk of time tweaking things last minute. Their effort and pride in this preparation are rarely noticed.
• Similar recognition needs to go out to the help that cannot be seen. These are the folks that build the props and transport them to and from. This also includes T-posts, targets, hangers, tents, water, etc. The list goes on haha! These are people who also give their time far before arrival of competitors. They include teenagers, friends, and grandparents who have nothing better to do with a pickup and their retirement.

Rob spends an entire year corresponding with makers and manufactures of shooting sport related companies. This effort is often done over late nights. We thank the large vendors who continuously support this event. Rob also researches new and local companies as well as veteran-owned businesses to sponsor the prize table. The effort he puts in is exceptional in the hopes of fulfilling a table that rewards the hardship all competitors have endured. Rob also books the latrines and more. The behind-the-scenes talk also includes the silent works he put into organizing this. The day it ends, is the same day it all begins again.

Your leadership has shown to be the result of community building. The connections you make while participating in this event go far beyond the course. Thank you for your inclusion and support. We appreciate all the new support as well. You are fully encouraged to return to the next event.
This year was smoother than ever before. But only due to our reliance on your feedback whether positive, criticism, or new ideas and suggestions. Please don’t hesitate to send via phone, email, text, or social messenger. Every bit of input is greatly considered.
