Virginia Trail Riders, Inc. is a group of enthusiastic equestrians that gather twice a year at the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia for competitive and endurance trail riding and socializing. The fall ride is 30 miles whereas a 50 and 100 mile rides are offered in the spring. There is also a pleasure ride in both the autumn and spring for those who aren't quite prepared for a longer stint in the saddle.

To try and answer your questions- we are just having a Pleasure ride this fall (no competition) so you can go out on the trails as long or short as you’d like. It’s mostly mountainous terrain. We have stalls that you use and can park trailers in the lot next to stalls. Everyone must stay at the Hotel. For further information, please call Martha Rodgers at 434/466-3261.
