Camp Highlight - Youth Travel Camp

One of the best parts of mountain biking is experiencing the wide variety of trails, terrain, and features that exist in a given area! Youth Travel Camp provides campers the opportunity to ride many of the best trails in Albemarle County, Virginia. This Monday through Friday day camp is geared towards intermediate-level girls and boys ages 8 to 14 who are motivated to improve and love to ride all day and explore. Foundational MTB skills are reviewed and then built upon, and each day of camp features fresh trails and riding locations to enjoy!

2026 Camp Highlight - Explorer Camp

For girls and boys ages 5 to 7, Explorer Camp is all about having a great time on two wheels while learning the very basics of mountain biking. Taking place all four Saturday mornings in June, from 9am until 11:30am, campers will ride the beginner-friendly and inviting Triangle Trails in Charlottesville. Short trail rides are interspersed with simple skills lessons and plenty of snack breaks! An occasional visit to the stream that runs through the center of the Triangle Trails is not off the table, either!

Our ace Coaches are awesome at working with and motivating new, beginning riders, and camper-to-coach ratios for this camp never exceed 5/1 so there is always an instructor nearby to offer tips and encouragement!
