Abbie Vlacich, Proctor Academy ’28, competed alongside some of the best pitchers from throughout New England at the A Shot For Life Pitchers Challenge!

Abbie raised more than $1,500 for cancer research and did a great job pitching too!

What else can we say but thank you!!! Thanks to our coaches, players, families, Lightning program, tourney hosts and college coaches who gave so much of themselves to our 16 U Wachter team. We have some exciting announcements coming soon!

Stay tuned for the roll out of our 18 U Wachter team and great work to our 16 squad, it was a blast all season.

We couldn’t be more proud of each of our players. First let’s give Annabelle Syvertson another huge shoutout on her commitment to Trevecca Softball. “AB” is everything you could want in an athlete and a person and we are so excited for her next chapter in 2027!

Coach Carla Monte is back for the weekend with Coach Wachter and the players went 3 wins and 1 loss with two more left to go at Fastpitch Nation Showcase tomorrow. Emily Makris picked up her second W of the weekend and Abbey Sousa added to an already amazing week while stepping up to support our pitching staff by pitching in her first game of the season and earning the W. Won our first of the day, had lots of college visits, and got to see two home runs from Annabelle Syvertson and Abbey sousa, a lights out throw down from Aurelia Salce 2027 to stop a stolen base and another strong pitching performance from Emily Makris ‘28.

Two more tomorrow at Fastpitch Nation Field 4 at 9:30 am and Field 5 at 11 am!
