Saying goodbye to my favorite season 🌞

This year was by far my favorite summer ever. Doing all my favorite things through my babies eyes was pure joy; going to the beach, long walks, pool days, zoo trips, baseball games and going to festivals. I’ll never forget my first summer as a mom.

I’ve learned a lot this season too; slow down, sip and savor every moment. This is the youngest they’ll ever be and I don’t want to miss a beat. I try to meet every testing day with gratitude… like really? I’m stressed because my babies want me to hold them during nap time? Sign. Me. Up. I catch myself in the times of pure chaos thinking “what a blessing” this truly is. I know in 20 years I’ll be missing this… maybe not the sleep deprivation, but I’ll be missing two babies who turn to me for nothing but love and play. And this season we really got to share just that…. Lots of love, and lots of play!

No season or era will beat motherhood. I’m convinced 💗

MY QUICK FULL BODY WORKOUT 💪🏽

I’ve been doing the same routine (phase) for eight weeks and I’m excited to retire it 🤣 you’ll understand after you complete it too:

5x6-8 deadlifts
3x15 db single arm sn**ch
3-4 sets of 20 alt jumping lunges
3x20 band rows

I like doing my 10 min cardio before the workout but you can do it after too!

People don’t just wake up “lean”, “fit” and “jacked”. Yes, genetics play a role. But what’s a bigger impact is the way your “healthy friends” live.

They walk more.
They drink more water.
They prioritize sleep.
They prioritize real whole food.
And, they try to get outside more. (Well, most)

They weren’t just blessed with a ripped bod. They make impactful choices every day to stay true to their healthy lifestyle… their body shows it.

Eating a high protein diet is a non-negotiable for those who want to build muscle. But being a business owner, personal trainer who works with clients all day, and a mom of twins… this can feel like a FOURTH job 🤣

But I have tools that make it easier:
✨ always eat a 30+ grams of protein breakfast. Anything less than that is not considered my meal

FULL BODY WORKOUT UNDER 30 MIN!

You can use kettlebells or dumbbells. 4 moves, with timed rest and multiple rounds. Keep it simple. I like to grab heavy weights for workouts like these; always focusing on quality and form (versus quantity).

Protein is the base of every meal- breakfast, lunch & dinner. Then I incorporate fat and fiber. If I’m running the next day, I eat more carbs, normally in bread or rice. If I’m not, I incorporate more greens, like cucumber, green beans, kale or spinach.

Meals don’t have to be complicated,but I do believe having a plan keeps you successful with your nutrition goals.
