Just popping in for a few reminders about your period

There’s so much to work on when it comes to complete wellness but there are a few things you can focus on, starting out

❤️plan your workouts around your cycle, you shouldn’t be doing the same intensity every day
❤️your uterus is a muscle, make sure to nourish it properly and stay hydrated
❤️you can and should be eating for your hormones… and I can help you do that

I’ve done away with macro coaching!

Nutrition is key

Macros have their place, I won’t ever deny that. However you can’t tell me it’s mentally healthy that I’ve been so obsessed with tracking my macros, in the past, that I know what exactly 3oz of sweet potato fires feels like when I reach in the bag

I’m still doing nutrition coaching, I will be calculating calories needed and helping my clients with their nutritional needs but that looks different for everyone, no matter what the math says you need, each individual body had individual needs

I feel like I’ve been stifling myself and my business, I have knowledge about nutrition and how it relates to the body and hormones and I haven’t been using it to mine or my client’s advantage. I have endometriosis so hormones have been on the forefront of my mind and studies for a long while and have been lucky enough to have functional medicine education at my finger tips ❤️

Eating a very specific number of each macronutrient, doesn’t mean you’re healthy. We’re looking at micronutrients and how your body reacts and responds to food and each macronutrient and why!

I can help you eat specifically or your goals and hormones. I have exceptional functional medicine doctors by my side to further my education and, if need be, work with my clients for more in depth help!

Still using a band around your knees for “glute activation” and doing hip thrusts from a bench?!

You HAVE to LOVE your body!

You don’t have to think it looks perfect or even that it looks like what you’re working towards but you have to love it!

Appreciate what it can do for you, celebrate the workouts that it’s capable of. Celebrate the movement it allows you to do. Celebrate being able to eat and enjoy your food. Celebrate the “little” things because they’re not so little.

And to the mother’s: If you’ve carried a baby and you’re not “bouncing back” don’t even mind that. That’s not what your body was made to do, it was made to do exactly what it did. You and your body are amazing!

Be proud of what your body can do and LOVE it!!!

When you’re full of love, there’s no room for hate!

Focus on the good and the good gets better!
