Eight years ago, we opened Rho Engine Room with 40 workouts, a belief in rowing and a hope that maybe this strange little idea could help people feel more alive.

Standing aside our crew, coaches, OGs, Chamber members, friends and family, it was clear Rho was never really about rowing machines.

It was about connection… Rhythm. Craft. Challenge. Community. And people choosing to go Further. Faster. Together.

At many places, rowing is just another machine to survive for time, meters, or calories.
At Rho, rowing became something we study, coach and continuously refine until it transforms into swing, performance and belonging.

Thank you to everyone who stopped into the Engine Room over the last 8 years. You built this with us. 🚣

Maybe your sign to finally try Rho isn’t about becoming someone different. Maybe it’s about remembering you like feeling strong, playful, energized and connected.

For eight years, we’ve helped rookies discover that rowing isn’t boring, intimidating or reserved for athletes. It’s rhythmic, powerful, low impact and surprisingly fun, especially when you’re surrounded by a crew cheering you on.
