Want to hear a funny story?
I was walking outside yesterday and saw some what I thought were chickens wandering around outside of their pen. I panicked, rushed back inside to get Sam to help me lasso up our chickens. He runs outside with me and says, “Mom, are talking about the cattle egrets?”

Turns out they were indeed cattle egrets and not our chickens running loose.
So no, we didn’t lasso any egrets😆😆

Cattle egrets eat the bugs that bother our many animals. Just another piece of regenerative agriculture.

Want to learn about the importance of regenerative agriculture?

Come with me into these two pictures.

These two fields are beside each other. Only the width of a field road separates them. In one picture the evidence of drought is obvious. But not the other. The difference? Regenerative farming. The green field has the ability to retain any rain we do get. It holds moisture. The organic matter is doing that. The dead field cannot do that…..yet. It’s all a process, but restoring the nutrients to soil is our priority. And the benefits are numerous!
