I know my last hats were not really for the ladies that like bobwhites. I’ve been thinking of a more feminine design to make a few hats for the ladies out there that support us.

Cason helped me clean three hatch boxes containing roughly 2,500–3,000 eggs. We had an excellent hatch and are very pleased with the results.

It’s been rewarding to watch the boys learn that building something — especially a dream — requires time, consistency, and hard work. We began with 25 eggs and are now hatching about 100 times that number.

Hard work and patience pay off. Growth brings greater responsibility and effort — if it’s easy, you’re probably not growing.

Mullis Quail Covey reflectes on Memorial Day of our own losses of brother and sisters who gave it all for the freedom we have. As well as for countless others who gave up everything, for us to live in a free world.

Our quail are raised in open-flight pens and carefully acclimated for successful population releases, bird-dog training, and plantation wildlife management. Healthy, well-socialized birds conditioned for strong survival and performance.

No rest for a bobwhite hatcher or the wicked 😂. Up early to catch a few quail for a customer looking to train his pup this morning!

I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t love it!
Honestly it reminds me off the Marine Corps. We hated, at the time, when things went wrong, bad times, etc. but the moment you move past it you see all the good in the struggle. The laughs and fun with brothers. In this case my wife and kids.
No it’s not easy, but once we move past the hard days, my family and I can look back and see the good during the struggles our hatchery might face.
