Please join us in welcoming Jessica Harrell as the new Head Girls Basketball Coach at Clinton Middle School.

Coach Harrell was a standout athlete at Powell Valley High School, where she earned All-District and All-Region honors while helping lead the program to its first-ever substate appearance. She later graduated from the University of Tennessee, continuing to build the leadership, discipline, and work ethic that now shape her coaching philosophy.

While she may not have grown up in Clinton, Coach Harrell proudly considers Clinton home and is excited to invest in the young athletes of this community.

Her vision for the Lady Hawks goes far beyond basketball.

“My purpose in coaching basketball has always been to develop young athletes, giving them the foundation they need to make it at the next level. This position is no different. We are going to start from the ground up and develop young ladies into stronger, faster, more resilient, and more athletic young women. We can’t raise the roof if we don’t build the walls to put it on.”

Coach Harrell believes in sweat equity, discipline, accountability, academics, and doing hard things the right way. She is committed to helping prepare our student-athletes not only for success at Clinton Middle School, but also for their future as Clinton Dragons at the high school level and beyond.

She brings passion, toughness, and a clear vision for building a program our school and community can be proud of.

The future is bright for Clinton Middle Lady Hawks Basketball under her leadership.
